About

Reliance Family Care Services, Inc. (RFC) was founded in 2010 by Ernest G. Cole, MA. Mr. Cole has had over twenty years of experience working directly with individuals and their loved ones as an administrator in the field of Mental Health and Developmental Disability. Having worked in every aspect of the field Mr. Cole was motivated to develop a program that understands the need of the individuals that are being provided services.

RFC has been designed to listen to the individuals we serve, their families, and their support team to customize a program that will fit the needs of that individual specifically.

At RFC we promote individuality, stability, freedom, control, and independence for the individuals we serve. Our goal is to provide those we serve with an everyday life that is typical of the general population. With our support and that of family and friends our clients will decide how to live their lives, what supports they need, and how they want to spend their individual budget.

The staff members at RFC are required to complete training in understanding intellectual disabilities, forms of communication, dealing with cultural sensitivity, physical transfers, and understanding a large range of physical disabilities. We also require staff to pass criminal background check and child abuse clearance prior to being hired. Each member of our staff is certified in CPR and first aid techniques. RFC staff embodies integrity, reliability and honesty; through this we support independence for the individuals and families we serve.
